Police say that on April 3, the 67-year-old sufferer was working at a fuel station on West Merrick Street, when a male buyer handed him $10 for fuel.
The sufferer felt that the shopper was too shut and requested him to step again as a result of coronavirus pandemic.
The shopper grew to become indignant, returned to his car, grabbed a metallic bar, and attacked the attendant, placing him within the head and inflicting a big laceration, and fracturing his cranium.
The sufferer was additionally struck within the ribs and proper leg.
Police investigated the incident and on September 18, Hiram Vega, 41, of Queens, was arrested and charged with first-degree assault and two counts of second-degree assault.
